The local area

Places see, things to do

We are located a ten minute drive from the A55 which allows easy access to many attractions ranging from beautiful cities, majestic coastlines and spectacular mountains. From the cottage you can easily explore the surrounding valley or venture up into the Clwydian Mountains and wander along the Offa's Dyke. Amongst other things you can enjoy local walks, quaint little village pubs, national trust properties or cities such as Chester.

We are usually on hand to offer help and advice with regards to the best places to explore depending on the time of year and the Welsh weather!

NORTH WALES COAST

North Wales has a very diverse coastline with picturesque Victorian towns such as Llandudno, beautiful rural beaches of Anglesey, sandy outstretches down the Llyn Peninusla and secrets of Conwy Morfa found hidden in the sand banks after a high tide. There is always somewhere different to explore.

LOCAL WALKS

From your very own doorstep explore the rural country footpaths across agricultural lands to the tops of the Clwydian Hills and along the Offa's Dyke. Or take a gentle stroll to the beautiful village of Bodfari where you explore St Stephan's church or the local public houses. There is always a walk for everyone young and old.

SNOWDONIA

The cottage is about an hour from the beautiful Snowdonia National Park which offers plenty of opportunists and experiences for all. From walking the mountains, daring to do the longest zip line in Europe, exploring Welsh villages and taking trips on steam trains through the Welsh vallies or up the tallest mountain in Wales there is always something for everyone.
